TITLE: A Thousand Glimpses
SERIES: All My Children
AUTHOR: [livejournal.com profile] dreiser
EMAIL: dreiser7@yahoo.com
YAHOO ID: dreiser7
MY WEBSITE: http://www.dreiser.org/
CONTENT: F/F romance. Bianca/Reese. Breeze.
SUMMARY: Reese Williams had experienced a thousand glimpses of the life she always wanted but until she met Bianca Montgomery she never thought she could have it for herself.
DISCLAIMER: I own nothing but my near death experience with my parents dog and a flight of stairs.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Seriously, people. That dog nearly killed my ass. And speaking of my ass, it hurts so much. lol. If I had died it would've been so lame. Can you imagine the obituary? Killed by a fat pug tripping her down a flight of stairs. Lameness, it perpetuates. Anyway, I SORAS'd Bianca in this chapter because I wanted to have the exact ten year age difference and plus... twenty seven suits Bianca more than twenty four, imho. It's sad of me but I just wanted to really age her a little bit.

Oh yes, and because I'm lame here is Reese's outfit and Bianca's outfit to look at. Yes, I do that much research. Yes, yes, I'm sad.

You could just be playing a cruel prank on me to get my hopes up )

I know it might not seem like it these days but I'm still a huge manga nerd and today I happened upon a great Japanese web comic that was later published and is currently being made into an anime. What's the series?

Axis Powers Hetalia which is basically about various hilarious and mostly bishonen characters who embody an assortment of countries and the comic tells the story of famous events in world history through their interactions. It's really funny if you're not overly politically correct since there is a good amount of stereotyping involved. Not mean stereotyping but more like, England can't cook food stereotyping, America has a huge ego, and Russia is hella pretty but totally insane. Maybe Russia one is mean. I dunno. lol.

I love the series and have spent a few hours already reading through the scanlated comics HERE. The only thing I have to dispute is the fact that America is a bishonen guy wearing cute wire rim glasses. Dude! Come on, America is so much butcher than that.

I do love his relationship with England though. They have such an angry love. Hee. And yes, I'm already enough of a fangirl of America and England that I had to make an icon out of them fighting in disgustingly cute chibi form. America doesn't have his glasses on as he declares freedom though. I like him better that way.

As if a mere stabbing could stop Erica Kane. Pshaw! We knew Erica would survive because as stated, Susan Lucci is All My Children, but I was amused how she made such an easy non-dramatic sort of recovery in this episode. Her barely lucid comments to Bianca were awesome. First asking if the party was over and then asking about the state of her dress after the stabbing.

Then, of course, sleepily telling Adam off. Such win. Erica rules all.

Once again, The Rack was most distracting to me in this episode. For a lesbian I will acknowledge that I have very straight male tendencies and those of you who commented before on my Rack analysis, look at the video 1:00 minute in and tell me honestly you can't see where my fixation originates from! I can't help myself. It's just out there and how does one not stare? Impossible, I say.

My favorite thing was probably the tiniest thing and that's when at 1:59 into the clip, Bianca walks into the waiting room and she's holding hands with Reese and tugging Reese along after her like a little lost duckling. I found it so fucking cute for some reason.
