Toy Story 3 & Futurama: Made of Yay

I just got back from seeing Toy Story 3 and I'm going to watch my DVR'd brand new episodes of Futurama. I am filled with so much sad fangirl squee. I admit it, I love almost all little kids movies and I super duper love Pixar films. As for Futurama? It's my favorite animated series after South Park and I'm so glad it's back on the air. I can't wait to watch the episodes. Which is why I'm going to go watch them now instead of rambling incoherently online.

Oh yeah, Toy Story 3? SO GOOD. Sad at the end but in a great way. Seriously fantastic and you know, I love Woody but you guys? It's all about Buzz and Jessie. I ship it so hard. lol. I can't help it.

ETA: I'm so happy Futurama is back and Leela/Fry are officially together. The only thing that would make me happier is to have a hypnotoad t-shirt. Seriously. I want one. The new episodes are really great and it's not a complete reboot of the series like the rumors were implying. I'm really glad about that because I'd hate to lose the wealth of awesome back story the previous seasons provided. As well as the immense funny.

ETA: ETA: Also? Fry is the best boyfriend ever. I mean, he forgives a lot. Especially in that second episode with Zapp. But that's why you have to love him. That and his special brain that's immune to everything and totally saves the world time and time again.

I have a love/hate relationship with Pixar. Love, because, well, they make Pixar films. Hate, because I cry more in most Pixar films than I do in any other. No joke. UP dehydrated me.

I tend to get weepy during Pixar films too. There's just something about them that makes you want to cry. They're so good though. The Pixar haters can just go sit in their unhappy unfun corner and go hate. I love everything they do.

Oh ITA with you both. Pixar movies just bring out the kid in me and, apparently, the kid in me is a wimpy cry-baby. I think it gives me a nice aside to my mostly cynicnal/snarky disposition. ;-)

I'm a South Park disciple, but, I never actually watched Futurama before. Perhaps I'll give it a gander.

I'd totally recommend watching Futurama. It only had four seasons when it was cancelled. I'd probably try watching it from the start if you're going to get into it. In my opinion, it's a million times funnier than The Simpsons. I'm really happy Groenig and team are back doing it again.
