Are why I love my soaps. That's an icon of Christina Bennett Lind as Bianca I'm using btw. It's from this Monday's episode where she smiled in such a way that was a total recall of Eden's Bianca and it was just awesome and cute and totally Bianca so I had to icon it. So cute! Anyway.



Erica's mountain man, Caleb, comes to Pine Valley and is revealed to be Palmer's nephew and is now in charge of Cortland Electronics along with Erica. He's all grumpy and gruff and hilarious just like before but has a moment of distraction when Bianca walks past (rather loudly in heels) looking hot and holding drinks for her and Opal. The scene occurs one minute and twenty seconds into this video...

Honestly? I'm sad but that was one of my favorite parts of today's episode. It was totally cute and funny and even brand new people to Pine Valley love Bianca. I love how Erica's all protective about her kids. Bianca in particular with her that's my baby and she's gay with a wife so you better not hit on her moment. lol. That's how it should be. Reminds me of how Ethan totally had a thing for Bianca when they first met. Aidan too. Funny how they both ended up with Kendall.

ETA: I still love Annie like burning. Her mocking boring ass Marissa and her "special pink flannel love" was made of so much bitchy win. Why can't she and JR just be a couple already? They are the best pairing ever. I'm totally wailing about the previews which seem to be dooming my other favorite couple, David and Greenlee.

Oh yeah, is it just me or does it seem like Annie has the chops to possibly be like... a fusion of Erica and Janet? Like how she's got this great... I dunno it's not seduction but guys fall for Annie sort of like how they fall for Erica and it's this, why do I love her? I can't help loving her. Especially now that she's sort of crazy and awesome it comes up a lot with JR calling Annie an addiction. I mean, she's been with Ryan, Aidan, Adam, JR, and Scott and it's possible she could end up dating the whole town of Pine Valley like Erica giving her massive history and sweet back story. But she's like Janet where she's super entertaining brand of crazy. It's amazing how much I love Annie now compared to when she was first introduced as the boring accessory to Ryan.

A lot of people aren't into the Nu-Bianca and I don't get why. I think she's totally adorable and beautiful and plays Bianca's gentle Kane-ness well. The only thing I find myself missing about Eden is her voice and her boobs. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long to get to see her with Reese and Kendall.

And OMG I love Annie too. She makes JR tolerable for me.

BTW do you think its bullshit how Palmer mysteriously ended up owning Wildwind and giving it to Mountain Man? I was just as surprised as Greenlee when David said he was renting the place. They are just trying to bring my David down and I do not like it.

As dorky as this might sound I think when it comes to recasting (and a lot of things in life) it's about attitude. If you go into it wanting to hate the recasting out of loyalty to Eden and her history with the role of Bianca of course you're going to find things to dislike about Christina's portrayal. At first I had that attitude then I was like, no, no, go in with a positive outlook and happiness that your favorite character is being recast rather than abandoned for years and years before finally resurfacing again.

I really like Christina thus far and I think she's improving with each episode she's in and I suspect she'll get really good once Alicia comes back sometime this summer. I'm also holding out hope that they can manage to convince Tamara to come back as Reese as well.

Most complaints I've seen, which totally baffle me as a huge Bianca fangirl, is just outright vitriol and hatred for Bianca the character rather than the version portrayed by the actress. There are some really rabid soap fans who won't let go of the Gabrielle storyline and see Bianca as a hypocrite who betrayed Kendall. I just... as much as I hate that storyline it was so OOC for Kinks that I just don't count it into Bianca's character profile.

Annie makes me so happy everytime she shows up. I personally love JR with or without her but I can't stand Marissa. I'm hoping that her actress maybe ends up like Melissa and she'll end up doing something (inevitably) that puts AJ or Emma in danger and as a result she goes crazy like Annie and becomes interesting. Or she just gets removed from the show completely.

They are so trying to ruin Greenlee and David. I hateeeee those previews involving them and Ryan. Why don't the writers get that 90% of the fans don't want Ryan with Greenlee anymore? It just pains me.
