Femslash4Fans: Harry Potter

I'll be co-hosting allaine77's radio show, Femslash4Fans, on January 6th at 10 EST. The show topic (in case you haven't read my subject line) will be Harry Potter. We'll be joined by redbeargrl and meingeheimnis so I expect the show to be thoroughly awesome.

My fandom New Year's resolution is to try and finish my many abandoned fanfic projects including A Thousand Glimpses (AMC), Fragile Things (My Otome), and A Matter of Circumstance (Marimite).

Even so, I'm horribly tempted to participate in P&P's Epic Proportions contest. Since it has to be a brand new fanfic I was thinking of finally writing my All My Children/L Word crossover fanfic that hooks up Bianca and Helena thus creating the prettiest/nicest/most made of win lesbian heiress couple of all time. The pretty, you guys, the sheer pretty!

Or I could finish my Legend of the Seeker fanfic that has Cara/Dahlia post S2 finale. Hmm.

Okay! I finally got to listen to the show last night, and I have to say, you had me cracking up at so many points. Like when you talked about how JKR made specific mention of Draco balding in the epilogue and how it must have broken fangirl hearts, ahahaha! I mean I knew you had a sense of humor from your fics, but you made me lol so hard at so many points during the podcast.

I would love to see you write that Hermione and Fleur extra-marital affair fic with Hermione as the Minister of Magic. I'll echo D. Geheimnis: "Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it!"

That being said, I totally wished that the whole hour had been you and D. You two were seriously the highlight of the show.

I'm glad you enjoyed my inane ramblings on the show! I might be helping him out with another program or two in the future. Not sure yet. It always struck me as funny JKR went out of her way to mention Draco goes bald. I mean, I found it awesome but it seemed almost spiteful to the rabid fangirls she had to know were out there. lol.

I have that fic in my head and I was talking to an online acquaintance about the idea of writing it with her where I would write the first half of the fic (them falling in love and the affair) and she would write the fall out when everyone finds out about them cheating.

meingeheimnis have talked about the show once or twice and we'd both love to do another HP show because there's so much ground to cover and, well, you know her voice is back.

Lol, I had you guys downloaded onto my ipod and was listening to it right before bed. I'll bed if anyone had passed by, they would have wondered why I seemed to be giggling like a mad woman in my sleep... Btw your laughter is infectious.

Allaine would have to set up another show but both of us would definitely be interested if he did. I'll be on his show with Gina Dartt later this month talking about Voyager and AMC. Fun stuff.

I winced when I heard my laughter on my podcast! lol. I'm glad you didn't find it obnoxious though. I guess I find a lot of stuff funny or I just super amuse myself because I laughed a lot on that show.
