I'm a comic book nerd, yes? I love comic book movies. They've gotten better and better over the years and when the holy grail of all comic book graphic novels, Watchmen, was made into a kick ass movie by Warner Bros I was most pleased. But then those bitches at Fox decided to sue since they originally had the rights for the movie and now a Judge has ruled in their favor. I have no idea what this means in terms of it's scheduled March release date but it sort of makes me hate Fox more than I did after seeing the overcrowded super villain mess that was Spiderman 3 and the catastrophic piece of crap that was X-Men 3.

Fox, stop being whiney bitches! Thank god Paramount is making Captain America and The Avengers movies.

And this has nothing to do with comics but to the people who keep PMing me asking about the new chapter of my AMC fic, it's done, I'm waiting on my beta because... you know, I like C&C from helpful people.

X-Men 3 sucked three ways from Sunday! And did you see at the end of the credits that Professor Xavier somehow winds up the the same hospital that he had a video-conference with during one of his classes? Everyone has been talking about the Wolverine movie that's coming soon but after the manic power mess of the last movie I doubt I'll see it. Another thing that bugged me was Anna Paquin playing Rogue all pathetic and whiny then she runs off to have her powers taken away just so she could be with Bobby a.k.a Mr. Cool As Ice, WTF!

Rogue was all sorts of out of character. I did love me some Ellen Page as Kitty though. Despite how much they fucked up the Dark Phoenix Saga I did love Famke's portrayal of Jean but I've been a Jean fangirl since the start and I've always thought she was perfect casting. The Professor in another body at the end of X3 was stupid but not as stupid as killing him in the first place.

I'm actually pretty optimistic about the Wolverine movie. I mean, I love, love, looooove, Hugh to pieces as Logan and the rest of the casting seems good. Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth in particular fits really well to me. I've never been a Gambit fan but he does intrigue me in the trailer they released. I'm a bit iffy about Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool.
