I'm sick yet again. 24 flu or something and I'm wonked out on cold meds watching tv. For some reason I decided it would be great to watch the wedding marathon on We of all things which is a channel I never watch since it's all about girly stuff and I'm the least girly girl you'll ever find. I'm on maybe hour four of watching Bridezilla marathon and I'm baffled by it.

These women are so bitchy and entitled and selfish, how the fuck do they get men to propose to them? One of them forced her guy to do it though. He gave her a random ring for Christmas and she kept needling him about it really being an engagement ring until he finally gave in and said that it was.

Duuuude. That's all kinds of wrong.

Strangely enough, I'm trying in my sickness addled mind to figure out timeline of when Bianca and Reese would move in together in my fanfic. I think it should maybe be around Christmas, before Bianca goes back to Pine Valley when Zach and Greenlee are rescued from that big pit in the wilderness or whatever they were stuck inside together. That means Reese is by herself for the holidays though. Suck ass! I'm figuring Bianca technically goes to visit after Christmas day. Maybe the 27th she flies out? I dunno.

Now Rich Bride, Poor Bride is on. You know, I want equal rights for myself and my fellow gays but part of me is glad I can't get roped into a wedding because I live in Missouri and all the women I've ever dated are extremely practical and don't want children like me. I'm amused by those chapels in Vegas though. The drive through wedding ones? They appeal to me for some reason.

And I just got another PM. What the fuck? My fanfic is not like your diabetes meds that you'll die without. People need to calm the fuck down before I puke on my keyboard. Nooo, my lovely flat iMac keyboard. I love you more than most humans. I cannot puke on you.

That's a big ass wedding cake they're picking out.

I think there is no doubt that you have hundreds, if not thousands of fanatics of your fanfic of Reese and Bianca. You have over 7,300 hits on the Reese/Bianca Board alone - not counting your LJ and the fanfiction.net. I really think it is a combo of people wanting more about the characters on the show - which is a reflection of how good the show is with these two characters and how good your writing is . . . I imagine it can get frustrating to keep getting messages that want you to crank this out - but hang in there!!! It really is a reflection of how good your story is and maybe people are more addicting to your story than their diabetes meds . . .

I don't consider it a reflection of my writing quality. Those kinds of messages just come off entitled to me and I don't really think they consider my fic better than anything else they're reading. At least that's the impression I get from those PM's I receive.

I've been thinking about the christmas 2007 timeline also because I'm kicking around an idea about a ski fic. Bianca sounded so excited about the Alps, I figure they must have gone skiing in a nice romantic ski village in the Alps at some point. Anyhow, it's looking like Bianca showed up on AMC last year on dec 26 and left on dec 28. This means she would have to leave Paris on the 26 and would arrive on the 26 morning on the east coast because of the time difference. So they could actually do this and spend christmas eve and christmas day with Reese.

It's scary how much thought I've put into this. I know.

Thanks for telling me the dates of her 2007 Christmas appearance. It saves me from having to look it up myself. I'm pretty sure she only called Kendall on the phone during the whole Kendall gives birth to Ian and Spike gets in that Greenlee car accident and goes deaf instead of going back into town.

I have to say I'm not quite sure what Bianca did while she was in town since I only wanted to know when she'd be in PV vs in France and available to go skiing.

Bianca then decides to move to Paris to be closer to Zoe, but returns on December 26, 2007 for a brief visit, cheering her family up following their recent traumas. Bianca reveals that she and Zoe drifted apart, but she is determined to provide a stable family unit for Miranda. After bidding farewell, she departs again on December 28, 2007.

Wikipedia knows all. I remember some of what Bianca did. She showed up at the hospital and did the family thing, then she bonded alone with Kendall, saw replacement Babe, then said goodbye to Erica.

That doesn't matter too much since the fic is from Reese's pov and I won't be writing what Bianca is up to. I'll have her call Reese, of course, but mostly I have to figure out what lonely Reese will be doing on her own in those two days. lol.

I figure she needs to catchup with work. Having a family really disrupts things when you're a workaholic. It's a big adjustment. So the minute the family is gone, it's work, work, work, to be able to spend time with them when they're back.

That makes a lot of sense. I can see her spending a lot of time in Bianca's house though, wanting to be there just to feel close to them. I was thinking that it's right around that time Bianca asks Reese to move in with her so maybe she's also getting her stuff arranged in the house, puttering around, doing that and working.

Sounds right. I'm sure there's plenty of daydreaming about Bianca also, like stuff they did she wants to do again, and stuff she's putting on her must do list for as soon as Binks is back ;).
