I've decided to take a miniature break from the Whip It fanfic series I've been writing to write another fanfic featuring a romantic relationship between Iron Maven and Eva Destruction that spurs jealousy in Bliss and Rosa Sparks which causes them to finally act on their own feelings for the two women. It's an idea that was suggested by [livejournal.com profile] jsword on the [livejournal.com profile] ruthlessmaven community and I think it's a simply fabulous concept for a fanfic.

I do have one more fanfic planned for the Ruthless/Maven series but I don't know if there is going to be anything else after that. I think after years and years of having original stories in my head and being too chickenshit and lazy I'm going to actually give writing one a try. Whether I can get it published by a legitimate source and have a real book agent show interest in me is debatal but fuck it. I'm over thirty. I've wanted to write books professionally since I was a kid and I'm finally going to actually try and see if I can get it done. I owe myself to try at least.

Since I'm a sadly lazy person I know I won't be able to keep up writing extensive fanfic series at the same time as an original project I see as a book trilogy in my head. I'm not going to stop writing fanfic. I love it too much for that but I won't be writing it on a regular basis and I don't predict anymore long fanfic series from me for awhile if at all.

Anyway! There's that if anyone cares.

Good for you. You should totes give it a try cause you're talented like that. I think I've been a total deadbeat with not commenting on your Whip It fics, but they're awesome and made me happy. I found myself wanting to watch the movie again cause I liked the fics so much and then remembering that none of the really good stuff happens in there.

I'll be sad to see no more Ruthless/Maven fic as I'm really enjoying it.

But if you've got an original fic in you then go for it!

Well, I'm more sad that we won't see the end of the Haruka and Shizuru fic. But I hope your original writing goes utterly amazingly! :D

That's totally understandable. Wish you luck with any original writing you're undertaking, not that you need it :D

Go for it! I'm sort of in the same boat myself. After the third time I changed my major, I just recently decided to just take a swipe at being a novelist. It's great seeing other people doing it too!

I'm a big fan of your writing and a fanatical fan of Ellen page so I decided to give your Whip It fanfics a whirl even though I find Iron Maven incredibly unattractive both physically and as a character. I'm glad I did because they were pretty cute and actually seemed authentic. I'm really gad to hear that you're going to be writing more in the Whip It fandom but I'm even more stoked to see that you'll be writing some original fiction! Please do and please share! I'm a bad fan, this is my first time giving feedback, but be aware that lurkers love you too!

I'm sorry I have to leave this as anonymous but I don't have an account on livejournal. I love all your other fanics for Whip It and I think the idea that you have is really cool. I hope you post it soon, and I hope to read more future Whip It fanfics from you!!

I sadly do not have a LiveJournal account but then again, you're the first fanfic writer on this site that made me wish I can leave you a proper comment where you can reply back if need be. I just watched Whip It yesterday and devoured all your Whip It fics and love Bliss/Emily. I am awed by your eloquent writing and I even found myself looking up unfamiliar words that you used. And I wasn't expecting that from a (Whip It!) fanficiton! As much as I am craving for more, I am oddly satisfied as well, primarily for spending hours just consumed by this grounded and realistic relationship you've made for the two women (and this is my first (good) femslash that I've read and like. Kudos!). As satisfied as I am, I would not object to additions to this series ;) Haha. But I am entirely supportive of you writing your own original stories and being your own hero by going out there and taking that chance to be published. I will probably reread your Whip It series again some time soon and check to see how your original writing is going. I do have a request and I hope you can humour your fan: would you care to leave a quick summary of your original works? I would love it no doubt because your writing is just that lovable. Go and have fun, and I wish you the best of luck!

I can't wait to see more Whip it! femslash from you. You are my favorite Whip it author on here :)

Okay, so I just spent all day reading your Whip It series after watching the movie yesterday. Omg, I totes have a thing for Iron Maven now. And your Smashley is hilarious. I loved the way Drew portrayed her in the movie, ahahhaa. And I think your Malice is adorable in her shy way (and the way she tells Ruthless to not kiss her in the last bout, dude, Ruthless should totally do that one day to mess with her game).

So yes, good luck with the original story, and hopefully see more Whip It! I want to see how the stuff with Maven's family turns out.
