M. Night Officially Has Becoming A Laughing Stock

Avatar The Last Airbender fans should feel a small measure in comfort in the fact that just seeing M. Night Shyamalan’s name is causing audiences to laugh. And not in a good way. This is all kinds of schadenfreude, you guys.

Universal is all over the interwebs trying to remove the videos of various audiences (across the world) laughing, groaning, and generally mocking the sight of M. Night's name when they saw the trailer for Devil at Inception premieres. As for the movie itself? It could be good but I don't trust anything with his name attached to it. Last movie I liked by him was Unbreakable.

Oh, and oneiric22? You predicted it. Or did you just tell me Toph was your favorite? I finally watched all of Avatar The Last Airbender and Toph is totally my favorite too. Why is she made of so much win? It seems impossible to fit so much awesome in such a tiny girl. lol. I really hope she shows up in the spin off Legend of Korra since it takes place in the future. I mean, who else but Toph should be the Earthbending teacher? No one, that's who.

Though, I agree with some fans who say Toph should have her own Metal Kingdom and be the Metal Queen. lol. Ahhh, she's too awesome. Seriously.

ETA: This protest at Comic Con against Westboro Baptist Church is fabulous and funny.

Toph is totally my favorite character in the show. I adore her. I especially love the blind jokes.

Hehe. Metal Queen. I can only imagine what a force she becomes. I wonder if she mellows out or just continues to be awesome. So now that you have seen it all, wasn't it hilarious how in the play about the Avatar and his merry band she was played by a burly dude and thought it was perfect? Oh Toph. You are made of so much win. I actually have some good Toph AMVs on my ipod that I watch every so often. Nearly all of them end with her little triumphant fist in the air pose she had after winning a tournament in her intro episode. :D

Toph sounds like tough! rofl. I love it enough I made an icon of it. That was so great because Katara is all smug expecting Toph to be upset over the casting but instead she's super happy. I bet the casting came from all the large burly men Toph has defeated across the world not wanting to admit a little girl took them down with no effort.

I hope she doesn't mellow out too much. Oh yeah. Out of morbid curiousity I found the M. Night travesty online to watch for free and it's so painful, dude. The characters don't even feel the same. They're like shells. And then there's the fact that names are pronounced wrong. Just... annoying. I really hope they don't make the other two proposed films. I shudder to think what he would do to Toph. Super lame.
