Prospect Park announced they might not go through with continuing All My Children online (which bums me out severely) but they're full steam ahead with One Life To Live. The reasoning being they don't have that many people signed on for AMC, including La Lucci, while they have a HUGE amount of important cast members signed on for OLTL.

Including Florencia Lozano aka Tea I'm The Most Bad Ass Attorney Ever Delgado!! Ahhh, fangirl squee of love and joy. I adore Tea above all other females on OLTL. Her and Blair's frenemy relationship is my OTP on that show and yay for seeing more awesome Tea/Dani mother/daughter scenes for I love them dearly.

Also? They signed on David Vickers. Yay! If only Dorian hadn't said no. AMC bums me out because above all else I'm a huge Bianca Montomery fangirl and Christina Bennett Lind's interpretation of the character was made of fabulous.

Still. I have Tea now. So much joy for Tea.

Honestly. This whole thing with the two Todds is torturing me (exaggeration obviously) on One Life To Live. The storyline is delicious, it really is, but it kills me because I know that Trevor St. John is leaving the show before it officially goes off the air in January and while I love Roger Howarth for originating the role of Todd, TSJ owns the role now and I hate the idea of his Todd being the fake one.

Particularly since I love TnT (aka Todd/Tea) like burning and TSJ Todd owns that ship like burning, imho. RH Todd is more about Blair and as much as I love Blair I fangirl more over Tea than her. Just slightly because I do love Blair but Tea is my hands down favorite female character on OLTL closely followed by Tess. Who only got... what... two days of happiness with Ford before Jessica came back? Sadness!

Anyway. OLTL is so fucking good. It always is though. I have irrational loyalty to AMC as my favorite soap but the rational part of my brain has to acknowledge OLTL is the better written soap opera. Probably always has been. I mean, I almost never fast forward characters on OLTL but I do that a lot with AMC. Mostly Jake/Amanda. So dull.

So that's that. I love the two Todds storyline because it's delicious angst and is well written soapy drama but I hate hate hate it's going to rip apart the sheer epic awesome that is TSJ version TnT which is my favorite ship on the show. I just hope that Blair/Tea remain BFF's when this whole thing is through. I love their friendship so.

Everyone has been calling/texting me all day because they knew of my inevitable heartbreak over All My Children and One Life To Live being cancelled. AMC has until September of this year and OLTL is on until January 2012. At this point, I just hope Jack/Erica are together, Bianca gets her happy ending with Marissa, and maybe we'll get lucky and Zach will come back from the dead to be with Kendall.

OLTL has longer to wrap up their storylines so I have more hope for that show ending well, especially since the writing has been fabulous lately. I just really hope the send off on both shows is a happy and good one for the characters I care a really sad amount about.

As for all the people who comment that of course they got cancelled, soaps are such a stupid and low form of entertainment with shit writing, I ask them what the fuck do they think Grey's Anatomy or any other number of primetime shows are. They're soaps that are on at night. You're not on some entertainment high horse. Stop being assholes when people are genuinely bummed over this.

Blerh. Anyway. I guess when everything goes down I'll convert to watching Y&R. At least I know some of the characters on that show and care about them. Plus it has Eden and Liz.

So I just got done watching One Life To Live and for those of you who aren't aware, Tea Delgado has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. She just got news she has a few weeks to live and as her condition degrades she won't be able to recognize her loved ones and will eventually lose her ability to communicate and care for herself completely.

I think that's how David Vickers would spell his reality tv show. Unless it's called The Real Buchanans of Whatever County in Llanview.

Tea, I love you like burning. You're my #1 soap opera fangirl crush beating out both precious members of Kinks on All My Children, but what's up with your super secret hidden briefcase in a drawer?

You open it and it has a single piece of paper in it.

What the fuckity duck, Tea?! Does that single piece of paper deserve its own briefcase? Really? My cynical side doubts this and it looks lonely all by itself in there.

And if it's the almighty papery evidence of your super duper secret that you talked to Blair about while having a near death by poisonous gassing experience then why the hell isn't it in a safe? Instead it's in a briefcase that has little latches (but no lock) and is in a bottom drawer of your dresser where any nosy person can find it.

This is a soap though and writers are less than attentive to details so I forgive you. It's not your fault they're neglecting your natural intelligence and are having you do illogical things which will reveal your super duper secret which better be good. Part of me wonders if you're like... an FBI witness protection program person. Although you being in the news so much nixes that. The soap opera veteran viewer in me says it has something to do with maybe RJ and the mafia or maybe mystery dude from that island you were stranded on way back when Todd dumped you for the umpteenth time.

I sort of think Blair wants to fuck you. lol. She's way too fixated on you and it can't all be about Todd. You guys have strange sexual tension. And I'm weirdly enjoying speaking to a fictional person so I'm stopping now.

Tea Delgado, hands down, is my favorite female character on One Life To Live and as much as Todd can get on my nerves with his antics, although he is relentlessly entertaining to watch, I love him with Tea. They're doing a love triangle betwixt Todd, Tea, and Blair right now and currently Todd appears to genuinely want to be with Tea in a romantic sense but he's got kids with Blair and that perpetual habit of running back to Blair and leaving Tea in the dust.

Which is why as much as I love TNT together I'm just waiting for Todd to break Tea's heart yet again which is so fucking lame. I mean, I love Blair too but dude, she's had her time with Todd. Give Tea have a chance already. She never ever gets the good end of things whenever Todd is involved. She always gets screwed over or dumped despite her sexy smirking Spanish speaking mad lawyer skills ways which pains me because, like I said, I love her best and she's just such a fabulous character and catch.

Plus as a long term soap opera fan I want TNT to have a kid because that kid? It would be made of awesome, rivaling the likes of Starr and Jack which is hard to accomplish considering how cool those two are.

I doubt the OLTL writers will listen to my silent pleas for Tea to get the guy for once but I've been crossing my fingers about this ever since they set up the love triangle storyline but I honestly don't have much hope. If Tea can't end up with Todd can they at least bring back RJ again? Let her be happy with someone as great as her, please!

Dude. I love One Life To Live like burning right now. I know that Jessica having multiple personality syndrome or more politically correct dissociative identity disorder is really cheesy, especially since her mom Vicki suffered from it, but I love it to death. Her actress is just perfect for soaps and she plays up all the various personalities to the hilt. Honestly, I could give a shit about Starr getting her baby back, although I love her character and Cole together, this whole storyline is all about Jessica and her multiple personalities coming back.

Please lord, let Tess reemerge and do some crazy ass shit. Almost blowing up her sister wasn't nearly as epic as it should have been.

I'm totally sorry if this post made no sense but I just had to fangirl over my favorite soap opera for the past few months. OLTL is kicking AMC's ass in sheer entertainment value and AMC almost killed off Adam so that tells you how good OLTL is for me right now. Although it doesn't help AMC is embroiled in murder investigation mystery plot right now. I fucking hate those. They drag out forever and just suck.
